Chile is chile. not much has changed. but my bet is that i´ll be transferred this cambio. butttt we´ll see. things have been pretty much the same. Sunday was rough cuz we didnt have people in church :P but we´re finding some good people to work with. The only thing worth writing about was this one day when we called the people that were going to give us lunch but they forgot we had lunch with them and asked if they could change for the people that had it for the next day. And just so she didnt feel bad i said yeah sure. but then i realized that we didnt have the phone number of the sister that we had lunch with the next day. so then on the next day were trying to plan what to do, and tried calling one of the 2 to cancel, but neither of them were answering their phones, so my comp comes up with the brilliant idea of going to eat at both places so that we dont have to cancel either of them. not sure why, but i went along with it. so we went early to the first lunch, and she made empanadas but wasnt in the room most of the time, and so in order to save space for the second lunch we started putting empanadas in my comps backpack. and then she gave us a salad and desert too. so we went outof that hous pretty much stuffed. and then ran over to the next house. we got in and she had a salad too! so we ate the salad with still a little bit of room left. and then she gives us a soup with noodles that we ate and got filled up on cuz we thot that was all she was gonna give us, but then she comes out of the kitchen with a whole nother plate of rice and chicken and hot dog! we just starred and we like "ahhh crap" and started eating but only made it a little over half way thru and THEN she comes out with the desert!! ... im never listening to another one of my comps plans ever again.... lol

Not much happening actually. This week was kinda slow, and our numbers were low, so the zone leadres were all on my back too :P but this week should be better tho.

my comps package that he spent all his money on this month finally came haha so now we have a bunch of church videos and gospel study books, buttttt no money :p lol luckily i have some more money in my account, so i think we´ll be good, but my comps been outta food for awhile now haha he just lives from lunch to lunch and steals some of my food lol but he survives haha the members actually say he´s looking fatter and im looking skinnier! lol so idk how that works haha but whatever.

Oh and on friday this week. it rained like crazy, and we both got soaked. my comp more than me tho cuz i had an umbrella lol he just had a rain coat. and his books in his backpack got wet too, so we went back to the house and dried them out with a heater lol but all the other days its stll really hot and dusty. but the works going on. and we´re finding great new people everyday.

Some Paintball, A Baptism, Waffles and a Fire

2.13.12

Chile is good. we just got back from a zone activity. we played
paintball in this cool place thats a bunch of abandoned buildings. i
lit some people up, and our team won everytime ;) haha
not much else has happened this week. i've had to pay for everything
this month tho, cuz my comp thot it would be a good idea to waste all
his money for the month on books :P soooo we're baisically gonna
starve this month lol
and yesterday we had a baptism! Duh duh da duh!!!! :) and it went
great. her whole family came. and her mom that doesnt really want to
join the church was crying and said it was really beautiful. so we'll
see if that softened her heart any.
her little sister and brother are also starting to get excited about
the church. and hte youngest sister is sharing withh the jehovas
wittnesses too, so its kind of a delicate situation, but she seems to
be leaning towards us more lately.
oh and apparently i need to change my wardrobe on Pdays, cuz gym
shorts and nike shoes are Flaite(pronounced:fly-tay) which is like
gangsta in english lol so that was pretty funny. other than that not
much happened this week. but the works going on.
but yeah thats about all there is to report here..

Chiles good. still really hot. actually speaking of hot, there was a
forest fire in my sector. up on a hill above some houses, but the
firemen (bomberos) came n took care of it. but it was really big. ill
send pix next week.
not too much else happened this week. One day we went down to the city
part of Penco to do a day long comp exchange, so we got on the bus
that goes there, but also goes past it to concepcion. and my comp paid
for us but he didnt tell the driver that it was only to penco so he
didnt get any change back. and then when we get there to penco we got
off, and i looked around and realized that my comp wasnt there and had
gone back up to the driver to get his change. and then the door closes
and the bus zooms off, so i start following it and see my comp get off
like 6 blocks away lol it was pretty funnny. he said he told me to
wait, but i didnt hear him lol
then one day we were doing contacts and this dog comes out and starts
barking from behind the fence and trying to bite our shoes n stuff, so
i pull out my mission planner to smack it in the nose to make it mad,
and the dog bit my planner and pulled it inside the fence. So we ended
up having to have my comp go and distract it on the other side and i
reached my arm in to get it back, but didnt reach so i got a stick and
we finally got it lol so yeah maybe not the best move on my part, but
it was pretty funnny.
this sunday Joselyn is getting baptised. her brother decided he didnt
wanna to share with us anymore, but i think well be able to get him
back soon anyways he just needs to do a little more reading of the
evidence.
